Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment to respecting human rights and opposing exploitation in our business and supplier relationships.
Our stance
Preston Consulting Group, LLC opposes all forms of modern slavery, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We support the principles of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to respecting human rights in our business activities and supplier relationships.
We believe that everyone should work freely, safely, and with dignity. We will not knowingly participate in, facilitate, or benefit from exploitation. We expect the people and organisations working with us to uphold the same standards.
A voluntary statement
Preston Consulting Group is not required to publish an annual statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish this policy and transparency statement voluntarily to explain our stance and the commitments that guide our approach.
This policy applies to our company’s operations and establishes our expectations for employees, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other business partners.
Our commitments
To put this policy into practice, we commit to:
- Fair working conditions. Require work to be undertaken voluntarily, with lawful pay and working conditions. Reject coercion, debt bondage, worker-paid recruitment fees, and the withholding of identity documents to restrict a person’s freedom.
- Responsible supplier relationships. Communicate our expectations to suppliers and contractors and consider their approach to labour practices when establishing or reviewing business relationships.
- Proportionate due diligence. Assess potential risks according to the nature of the work, recruitment arrangements, supplier location, and use of subcontractors. Seek further information where concerns arise.
- Awareness and accountability. Provide appropriate guidance to people responsible for recruitment, purchasing, and supplier management so they can recognise warning signs and raise concerns.
- Action when concerns arise. Investigate credible concerns promptly and fairly, seek corrective action, and involve appropriate authorities where necessary. Where a business partner cannot or will not address exploitation, consider suspending or ending the relationship, with regard to the safety and welfare of affected people.
Raising concerns
Employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders are encouraged to report suspected exploitation connected with our business to company management at info@prestonconsulting.com. Reports will be handled sensitively, with information shared only as necessary to investigate and respond.
We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern honestly or assists an investigation.
Transparency and review
We recognise that a policy alone does not establish that a business or its supply chains are free from exploitation. We commit to reviewing our approach annually, considering identified risks, concerns raised, corrective actions, and opportunities for improvement.
This statement sets out our policy commitments. It does not claim that particular audits, supplier checks, or training activities have already been completed. Any future report on our progress will distinguish between completed actions and planned improvements.
Company management is responsible for overseeing implementation and review of this policy. Our next review is scheduled for January 2027.
